Tuffcore Vinyl Flooring is Here!

TuffCore is exclusively distributed by National Flooring Products. This innovative line features distinctive finishes with realistic and High-Def imagery.

TuffCore’s multi-layered design combined with industry leading PSI core rating will ensure a stable “LifeProof” floor. TuffCore offers the beauty and elegance of hardwood without all the maintenance.

TuffCore flooring is a vinyl-based plank alternative to hardwood. This product stands out as it is created by blending PVC and a polymer blend. This unique compound resists the expansion and contraction that is seen with traditional hardwood flooring. The PVC polymer is formed
into a core with a patented interlocking click system. The core then has a high-definition photographic applique on a layer of virgin PVC vinyl and topped with a heavy-duty textured surface.

What are available textures for TuffCore flooring?

SM=Smooth: All of the flooring planks will have a smooth surface with minimal dents, divots, or
bumps. Available in a large spectrum of choices, a smooth floor can be finished in a matte
surface, with very little reflectivity, or a high gloss surface that is very lustrous. Smooth finished
flooring renders clean lines with a traditional look.

DS=Distressed: Commonly mistaken for hand-scraped, distressed surfaces reveal light chatter
marks, divots, or scrapes. Distressed surfaces resemble the effects of every day wear over a
long period of time. Similar to hand-scraped, distressed flooring can easily hide every day
wear and tear.

HS=Hand-Scraped: Each flooring plank is manufactured with a hand-scraped appearance.
Characterized by hills, valleys, and chatter marks giving the floor a rustic, timeless personality.
Also referred to as hand sculpting, hand-scraping can be very pronounced or very subtle.
Hand-scraped flooring tends to show less wear and tear over time making it a good choice
for very active families.

WB=Wire Brushed: This very unique look and texture is created during the manufacturing process
and is designed to look as if the wood surface had been briskly rubbed with a steel wire brush.
The combination of textured surface and applique design provides a rich, durable texture
filling your home with comfort and style.

LE=Light Embossed: Embossing is a manufacturing process that presses grain and texture directly
into the top wear layer. This gives the flooring a more realistic wood appearance.
EIR or RIE=Registered Embossed: Embossed in register (EIR) simulates the natural appearance of
hardwood flooring by adding depth and texture. This is accomplished by perfectly matching
the texture with the print on the material before all of the layers are heat pressed together.

Wool Carpet

Wool Carpet

Wool carpet is the premium fiber choice for your home. The wool fiber production process consists of The Natural Elements…Sun, Rain, Grass and Sheep. No artificial ingredients needed, no artificial ingredients added.

Premium Luxury

Wool carpets have a natural, soft and luxurious feel. The long lasting beauty and superior characteristics of wool carpet will enhance your home for years to come.

Natural

Wool shorn from sheep is completely natural.  It is composed entirely of amino acids, the building blocks of life. In soil, wool readily biodegrades to produce nitrogen, sulfur, carbon dioxide and water, which are all plant nutrients.

Naturally Stain and Soil Resistant

Wool carpets clean better, making stain protection unnecessary.  The wool fiber’s structure consists of overlapping scales, arranged much like roof shingles.  These scales inhibit dirt from adhering to the fiber and help fleck it away.  Wool has significantly better soil release than any other fiber.

Mannington hardwood floors offer a variety of looks to suit any decorating style, and the durability and performance to stand up to today’s busy lifestyles.  Our design team helps you with your emerging home fashion trends, to ensure that each floor has modern yet timeless style. New color palettes like smoky greys and rich browns are incorporated into traditional wood species like oak, hickory and maple for an updated twist on classic looks. Superior performance technologies like ScratchResist™ with aluminum oxide help protect the floor from everyday wear and tear, keeping it looking newer longer. And engineered hardwoods – real wood planks made from plies rather than a solid slab – offer more dimensional stability than solids, allowing them to be installed below, on, or above grade. Mannington hardwood is also environmentally responsible. Engineered hardwood floors make more efficient use of each tree, using half as many trees as solid wood floors. In addition, Manningtons hardwood floors comply with the most stringent indoor air quality standards, and most are FloorScore® certified, made in the USA, and third party verified for legal harvest and sustainability.

The French Charm of BORDEAUX PINE has arrived!

The French Charm of BORDEAUX PINE has arrived!

It all begins in the forest…

FP Bois has been committed over 60 years to provide the finest French hardwood flooring all around the world. Generation after generation they grow, cut, saw and mill their Bordeaux Heart Pine in France

Bordeaux Pine

pine hardwood

pine hardwood

  • Has a lifespan of 50 to 80 years
  • Is harvested after its diameter reaches a minimum of 16 inches.
  • Is regel tree that grows an evenly whorled crown every year. The tree’s age can be determined by the rings in the trunk cross-section. One ring per year of growth.

They offer a wide range of stains and mixed colors which add visual depth and texture to any decor. Highly decorative, it can be used on other surfaces such as walls, doors or as headboard for a bed.

Plain color Antique flooring: each plank is distinctive in the random aging and distress features of the wood. The wood stain contrasts perfectly with the natural color of the Bordeaux Pine, highlighting grain variation of each board.

Vintage French Bleeding flooring: even more obvious distressing in each plank, we are adding a second black randomly sanded stain to the wood providing a smoky vintage look to the floor. The result high relief, heightened by dark striations for an aged multifaceted result.

Wire Brushed flooring: a soft wire brush gently removes some softwood before a stain is applied to the Bordeaux Pine. The wood grain is accentuated resulting in a warm, naturally worn look. When stain is added is soft shading with texture.

Shaw introduces Life Happens Waterproof Carpet Backing

Shaw Floors’ new LifeGuard is a carpet protection system that covers the entire product, from face fiber to backing.

Carpets featuring LifeGuard are treated with Shaw’s patented R2X Stain and Soil Resistance Protection, while a patented 100% thermoplastic commercial-grade backing provides a moisture barrier that is highly resistant to liquids soaking into the carpet padding and subfloor.

Life Happens

“Some carpets promise protection against liquid spills and other accidents, including those caused by pets but they don’t address the reality of what really happens when spills occur. Liquids still soak through the carpet backing and spread, leaving stains and potential odors,” said Trey Thames, vice president of residential marketing and product management. “LifeGuard’s patented backing system, on the other hand, keeps these liquids from seeping into the backing making it easier to clean and offering protection against odor-causing spills including pet accidents.”
Shaw’s new collection of carpets featuring LifeGuard comprise the first residential styles to offer a moisture-resistant barrier, according to Thames. Treated with Shaw’s R2X Stain and Soil Resistance System, the collection’s styles are protected against liquid stains and the LifeGuard backing provides an additional level of protection. LifeGuard also reduces wicking of stains and offers consumers more time to discover and clean up spills.
